DMS Configuration

The Clearbox Document Management System allows Project Teams and Organisations to control and organise their documents. It acts as an online storage, providing security and control, managing different versions of documents and creating audit trails for the team. 

There are 2 interfaces to the application:

• The BIMXtra Web interface, simply referred to as the DMS or sometimes the Web DMS. The full set of functionality is available through the web browser interface. Refer to the first chapters of this document for detail of the DMS.
• A Windows application, providing a subset of functionality that simplifies the use of the DMS, to aid engineering and design workflows on the desktop. Refer to the Chapter titled 'DMS Client App' details.
